| About us | From its inception the group was headed by late mrs. Khatija moosa desai as chairperson. She remained life chairperson of the group until her sad demise in 1996. The d.s.i group of compnies is named after her three sons dawood moosa desai, shabbir moosa desai and iqbal moosa desai who form a very dedicated and professional team with complete grasp of the knitting industry. For here services to the country in the feild of exports late mrs. Khatija moosa desai was named by the ladies forum as one the most outstanding golden woment of pakistan in the 50 years period of 1947-1997. The company started business as hundred percent export oriented manufacuteres of cotton knitted products, initialy it had t-shirts as its speciality, which owing to their consistent quality became famous all over europe. The company later added a wide variety of cotton knitted fabrices to its production range. Fine quality knitted fitted bedsheets, terry towels and bathmats have now been included in the production inventory. Thesee products have made a tremendous impact both in the united states and europe. The dsi coupr of companies are the largest manufactureres and exporters of top qulaity cotton knitted tubular fabrics, finished hosiery, knitted garments, knitted fitted bedsheets, bathmats and towels. Their present productin capacity of knitted fabric is 25 metric tons per day. The group has completed 25 years of very successful export business in 1999. The group has the lates state of the art technology and machinery imported from united kingdom, france, germany, japan, italy austria and the united states. Quality control has always been the stongest point of the dsi group of compnies. The group strives continuously to keep abreast with the latest developments in knitted fabric technology and the consumer trend in the world markets.
