Huong Canh, a village of Binh Xuyen, Vinh Phuc provice has been famous for long as the cradle of pottery industry in Viet nam. Huong Canh has been favoured and granted by the nature a source of special blu clay togethe with hands and brain of craptmen, these have created specific glazed terra-cotta pottery products that no land can create, even glossy without glaze, not sophistcated but wearing the natural beauty of humanisim. It can be the traditional yar of soya sauce, sour vegetable, a vessel of eggplant o a teapot, flower vase, a folk picture. In a higher rank, the craftmen have craeted the statue of elephants, tigers or dragons that have been standing by the mausoleum, pagodas and temples for hundereds of years as the clear proof of an immortal handicraft village. |
