| About us | We are a small but energetic company which was established by Derek Chan in 2002. When Derek has worked for many large consumer goods companies in Hong Kong, he found that companies always have problems of disposing excess inventory, especially when they cannot dispose the goods in their existing distribution channels. Derek recognized this was a great business opportunity. He decided to start a company called Excess Trader whose main business is to source good valued surplus consumer goods from China and other Asian countries manufacturers and resell them to right buyers around the world. Having recognizing that selling excess inventory requires a totally different network of buyers, we have spent a great of time to build up our customer base consisting of liquidators, importers, wholesalers and retailers who have interests on buying excess inventory from Asian suppliers. We are continuing our efforts to expand the size of potential customers.
