Copail was founded with the belief of giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy wine is every possible aspect. Established in 1991, the organization got its name from a famous Dayak Bidayuh warrior, by the name of copial, of the fiftheenth Century in Borneo. With the establishment, copial became the first organization in Malaysia to explore the market in 'Tuak', an exotic drink brewed by the fermentation of glutinous rice. As 'tuak' is still being brewed traditionally over the past decades, copial has taken the bold step in commercializing this centuries-old product in the age of globlization.
