| About us | Part of a sprawling agro processing complex spread over 50 acres the company has a state-of-the art Nine Column distillery designed by JP International formerly M/s. Alko of Finland to produce world class potable Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) from grains. With a capacity to produce 60,000 litres of ENA per day the distillery is located in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India, at a distance of 150 km from Chennai international sea- port. THE PRODUCT: This state of the art distillery, which operates through a Distribution Control System (DCS), produces grain based ENA, matching the best of international standards. The specifications of ENA as per SGS analysis report are given below: Alcohol content : 96 - 96.5 Vol % min @ 20 deg C Fusel oil : Absent Aldehyde in mg/1 : Absent Acidity in mg/1: As acetic acid 0.002% W/W Ester in mg/1 : 0.002 g/100ml Methanol in mg/1 : Absent Heavy metals : No detection as Pb Barbet time : Minimum 30 Minutes Evaporation residue in mg/1 : 0.003% W/W Furfural test : Negative Appearance : Clear and Colorless Bouquet (smell : Neutral (8 out of & Taste) 10 – minimum) You would kindly notice, that this alcohol is virtually methanol free and the bouquet and taste is absolutely neutral, with a minimum rating of 8 in a scale of 1 to 10. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS : We have taken very strong view of our manufacturing activities staying in total harmony vis a vis the environment. The distillery is 100 % pollution free as we process all residuals both solid as well as liquid into value added by products. |
