Container Capacity: A container load of Salt Lamps and Salt Tea Lights is 20ft long by 8ft wide by 8ft 6inches High and can hold a maximum Gross Weight of 40,000 pounds. When planning your assortment keep in mind that Natural Salt Tea Lights range in weight from approximately 1 to 12 pounds. Salt Lamps range from approximately 3 to 150 pounds, with the most popular weighing between 3 and 20 pounds. So, depending on the items you select, the number of lamps is limited by the size and weight capacities of the container. A full container is the most efficient and least costly way to import salt lamps as they can be shipped directly from the mines to your warehouse using the most direct means possible. If you require palletizing, an option some of our larger customers desire, we will use 40ft containers that are 40ft long by 8ft wide by 8ft 6inches High. Based on US Department of Transportation regulations they can still only weigh the same 40,000 pounds. Timing: It takes from 2-4 weeks to manufacture a typical container load of Natural Salt Lamp products, a bit longer for Geometric shapes(SpheresCubes, Pyramids etc) and customized shapes(SunsMoons, Hearts, Fire Bowls use your imagination), a bit shorter for a container filled with all basic shapes. Timing is also partly dependent on our order backlog. We can give you a better idea of the timing of your order when you are ready to place it with our company. Shipping: It will then take another 3-5 weeks of transit time from when they leave the Port of Origin Smaller Orders, Wholesale and Distributor Opportunities: If the idea of importing, or the dollar commitment needed to enter the business at this level feels like too big a risk, we are happy to supply you from our warehouse stock. Single pallet loads of under $2000 in wholesale value, can be shipped to anywhere in the country from our Oregon facilities, prepackaged and ready to sell to your customers at a fair profit. We can typically fill your order in two weeks dependent on market conditions, the size of your order and the product assortment you are ordering. In most cases, please note, a direct shipment from overseas of at least $2000, though taking a little longer to arrive, will be a much less expensive alternative.
