| About us | Our products are made by our own local artists and refugees from different parts of Africa residing in Kenya and generally trying to start a new life. Many of these unfortunate people are talented and hardworking. Profits from the sale of these products go to help the producers of these items. A percentage of the proceeds go to various desititute children some orphaned and some from very poor homes. Details of these children will be divulged on request The products are all hand made. These include woodcarvings from wood experts. These artists actually do carve on order i.e. the carvings are custom made. There are leather products ranging from handbags, belts, purses, sandals e.t.c. Stone carvings from the world famous Kisii soapstone, malachite. There is some pottery clay heads household items like kettles, cups, and plates all handmade. Maasai items including belts, jewellery, necklaces, and chokers. Hand-woven carpets made from pure wool, wrap rounds hand-woven from pure cotton. Among the range are also candlestick holders, jewellery form rare stones such as amber, hematite, cow horn and bone. Beadwork, kazuri beads this are beautiful handmade necklaces and earrings. The beads are really something to look at and have. |
