| About us | With the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the China Jiangsu International Economic-Technical Cooperation Corp. (CJIETCC) was established in 1980 as a state-run comprehensive enterprise undertaking transnational business. It's operated under the direct leadership of the Jiangsu provincial government while receiving guidance from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of P.R.C. for business running. Its business field includes: 1) Contracting for various construction projects domestically and abroad; 2) Undertaking economic aid projects of China to foreign countries; 3) Sending Engineers, technicians and workers abroad for foreign projects of all kinds. 4) Import and Export of general products and technology. The import and export business is one of the main businesses of CJIETCC. It has five specialized trade companies, which are: 1) Import & Export Trading Co. 2) Foreign Trade Co. 3) Machinery & Chemical Engineering I/E Co. 4) Light Industrial & Textile Products I/E Co. 5) Arts & Crafts I/E Co. They are engaged in the import and export of various general products such as chemicals, machineries, electricals, shoes, caps, toys, arts and crafts, textiles, device sets, etc. by the method of normal or sole agent, parts assembling, manufacturing under samples or designs, compensation and barter trade. Increasing rapidly in the recent years, the companies have established business relations with over 60 countries and regions, being well reputed in the world market. After over ten years' development, CJIETCC has established its branches and offices in near 30 countries and regions, possessing certain economic and technical strength and business scale. It has been ranked in American Weekly-Engineering News Record's Top 225 International Contractors; listed as one of the 50 biggest enterprises by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of P.R.C.; awarded in the 100 most powerful enterprises by the National Statistics Bureau of China; assessed to be among the enterprises of AAA Grade Credit by Bank of China Jiangsu Branch; and selected as one of the 30 most powerful foreign trade enterprise in comprehensive strength by the Jiangsu Provincial Commission of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.
