As part of our policy for continued improvement, we have a local manufacturer known as cement investment(of which our company is the major shareholder with 25% of the capital stock), which is located at the industrial area of granadilla, and which amply fulfills all requirements in respect of guaranteed quality, service and supply. The regional nature of this supplier will cut costs and allow for a more diversified and competitive offer by the introduction of hitherto unknown types of cement of varying prices and qualities to cater for all types of applications. We must highlight that cement investment has acquired the largest bulk-unloading crane in spain(and one of the largest in europe) for the price of three million euros. This crane is able to unload 50,000 tons from a vessel in three days, as opposed to the normal eight or nine days required prior to its installation. This new factory is fitted with the latest equipment for transportation, dosification, grinding and expedition on the market. It is also equipped with the most advanced physical and chemical laboratories, thus guaranteeing strict compliance with applicable regulations. Within the cementos del archipiélago, s. A. Which is located at the industrial area of las salinetas, which is fitted with the most modern systems and technology for the manufacture of concrete and state-of-the-art transport systems.
