| About us | BARCODE SOLUTIONS: This technology is used for mechanized data capture on to computers and is an essential tool for inventory control applications. Since inventory control is of importance in a wide variety of industries, the end user clients of Basawa include retail stores, medium and heavy industries, airlines, courier companies, Government bodies and educational institutions, among others. ERP SOLUTIONS: ERP Solutions attempts to integrate all departments and functions across a company onto a single computer system that can serve all those different departments' particular needs. That is a tall order, building a single software program that serves the needs of people in finance as well as it does the people in human resources and in the warehouse. Each of those departments typically has its own computer system, each optimized for the particular ways that the department does its work. But ERP combines them all together into a single, integrated software program that runs off a single database so that the various departments can more easily share information and communicate with each other. BARCODE SOLTIONS The current Bussines of Basawa Technologies can be divided into following categories: Distribution of Bar coding Hardware and software from International Suppliers Basawa Technologies is the authorized dealer for several International manufacturers of bar coding equipment. Warranty service, including repairs is provided for any equipment supplied from these companies. Product training has been obtained at the factories of these suppliers for this purpose. Currently Basawa Technologies has about 50 active resellers and solution partners in India for equipment imported. The business partner network is expanding by about 30% per year as awareness increases for this technology. Basawa Technologies has made regular full-page advertisements in the Information Technology press for this purpose for last several years. Basawa Technologies has also tied up with other companies in India which have complimentary products such as retail software and systems to market its products. This allows Basawa Technologies to sell its products to clients of these companies with little marketing effort. Currently almost 95 % of the equipment is sourced from the following companies: 1. Unitech Electronics Company Ltd. Taiwan 2. Metrologic Instruments INC. U. S. A 3. Taiwan Semiconductor Ltd. Taiwan Currently Basawa Technologies has about 170 active resellers and solution partners in India for equipment imported from the above vendors. Our business partners at several prestigious clients have installed this Equipment. Development of barcode label design and printing software product Basawa Technologies has developed international quality software -The Basawa Bar Code Labeler for printing and designing of bar code and other labels. Currently, to the best of our knowledge, no other company in India has the required expertise to develop a similar software application. This software has been bench marked with other similar software worldwide and several knowledgeable clients has preferred the Basawa Technologies product to competing international products. This product has also been marketed internationally for the last six months through a reseller network and by participating in International bar coding exhibitions. |
