| About us | Ultan Bannon has twenty years business experience with a proven record in the fields of marketing, public relations and event management. Eight of these years were based in Australia working in the tourist industry. He managed a Japanese tourism company in Cairns, Queensland. His responsibilities included, financial control, business development and marketing as well as liaising with the Japanese head office in Tokyo. He also managed the day to day running of the diving school and leisure boat operations. Ultan Bannon founded Bannon& Bannon in 2003 after eleven years as co-owner of Castle Leslie, one of Ireland's most prestigious country house hotels. His main focus was on marketing, financial control and administration. In 2002 he personally negotiated with Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills to host their wedding at Castle Leslie. He also project managed the event in the glare of the international media. Ross Golden-Bannon is a consultant, copy-writer, marketer and broadcaster. He was educated in Ireland, Britain and France and has a BA in politics, economics and French. He worked for New Labour in the House of Commons until September 2000 as Political Assistant to the Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Wales. He gained extensive experience in media management through policy responses, rebuttals and formulating successful campaign strategies. Amongst other roles he acted as a voluntary lobbyist for charitable organisations to The House of Lords. In December 1999 he was accepted onto the list of Parliamentary Candidates for the General Election 2001. He withdrew his name in September 2000 and returned home to Dublin to pursue a career in the private sector. He recently left The Sunday Business Post to become a partner in Bannon& Bannon where he held a dual portfolio as restaurant critic and head of the expanding conference department. He is continuing with his restaurant role. He has organised numerous profitable conferences which pinpoint issues of national debate. He also acts as a consultant to training companies and has a weekly broadcasting slot with the radio station Newstalk 106. He is regularly sought after as an opinion former and commentator. |
