About us | Ahuja Furnishers was established in 1937 by our founder, Mr. O.P. Ahuja in Montgomery, India (then a part of undivided India). Under his firm vision and deep commitment, the company established itself as a leader in the field of hand crafted wooden furniture. During the devastating year of partition (1947), Mr. O.P. Ahuja moved to India and again set up shop in New Delhi. His firm belief in quality and service, once again established the company throughout India and helped the firm grow exponentially in the coming years. In a short while, the company started supplying furniture to all the major embassies and hotels throughout India. British High Commission has been one our oldest clients and has been associated with our company for the last 38 years, not only for their furniture needs for India, but also for their furniture needs throughout Asia. We are also regular suppliers to the American Embassy for their furniture requirements throughout India. Our exacting standards of quality have also resulted in our supplying furniture for King Mahendra of Nepal and other royalty throughout India and abroad. Our contracts division has a well established name in the market and specialises in jobs for the hotel and the office industry. Few of our major clients include the ITC group of companies (BAT and Sheraton affiliates) and other big hotel and industrial groups. In addition to this, our 9000 sqft. retail outlet in New Delhi caters to the needs of the domestic customers with discerning taste. Working for leading architects and quality conscious clients in India and abroad has developed the psyche of the company in terms of commitment to quality, timely delivery, and service adhering to the strictest of time schedules. Our two well equipped and mechanised plants in New Delhi, India, spread over a total area of 30,000 sqft. and employing over 200 personnel, use the right blend of man and machine, and are fully geared up to produce any piece of furniture in any quantity without compromising on the quality of the furniture. All manufacturing is available in-house, right from the time of sawing the incoming timber logs till the final polishing and packaging till final dispatch. This helps us in keeping a tight check of the final product and delivering the customer the products which match up to their needs, requirements and aspirations.
