Ahlstrom Korea would like to share this expertise and knowledge with you, our valued customer, by providing a new sample book containing the highest quality filter paper grades to meet all your filtration requirements. Filtration for internal combustion engines can be divided into three major categories; - Air: To provide clean air to be mixed with fuel prior to combustion. - Lube oil: To provide clean oil by removing ntamination that may damage the engine. - Fuel: To provide clean fuel by removing contamination that may plug carburetors or fuel injection systems. Filter paper is designed to remove these contaminates according to predetermined standards provided by the customer or car manufacture. How a filter paper meets these standards is called 'Filtration Performance' and is measured by; - Efficiency: What size contaminate particle will the paper remove. - Capacity: The amount of contaminate the paper will hold. All manufactures of filter paper must produce their paper to seek a balance among the properties of strength, porosity and permeability to ensure the correct efficiency and dust holding capacity for each filtration requirement. Ahlstorm Korea has developed and consolidated new 12 different paper grades that provided the highest quality and filtration performance for most applications of Auto Air, Auto Lube Oil, Auto Fuel, Heavy Duty Air, Heavy Duty Lube oil, Hydraulic, Air-Turbine, By-pass oil, and Creped Fuel. Ahlstrom Korea will also provide 'Technical assistance' for the customer as they begin using these new consolidated filter grades. Also, we realize that minor adjustment in corrugation depth or percent volatile amy be made in a case be case basis depending on each customer's conditions.
