My name is Hilary Rosenthal, and I am an Environmental Studies and Visual Art student at Brown University in the United States. I am working on a project to document the industry aspects of the professional wildlife trade through visual media. I am particularly excited about the reptile industry and am writing to ask if you would be interested in working with me on a mutually beneficial project. Specifically, I am looking to partner with a professional reptile breeder/distributor to document, through photography, the practice of reptile rearing and the beauty of animals in trade.
I have been making video and photo documentaries for years and am well positioned to present your work in an engaging, creative and positive way. In exchange for a tour of your facilities I will provide you all my digital images for free, so that you may use them on your website or in advertising your animals to the industry. I am also happy to keep your business name anonymous in my final project presentation – a senior thesis presented at Brown University.
