PT Agincourt Resources(“PTAR”) is developing the Martabe Project in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia. The Martabe Project mine and process plant is located 2 klm north of the village of Batang Toru, which is 57 klm south east by road of the coastal city and Port of Sibolga. PT Ausenco Indonesia (“Ausenco”) has been awarded the Contract for the engineering, procurement management, and construction management of this project, and on PTAR’s behalf, Ausenco is seeking Expressions of Interest from Indonesian companies to Tender for the following packages of work:
1. Site Erection of Tanks (comprising the tanks listed in the attachment hereto. In addition to the listed tanks, there will be 2 no. Field Water Tanks) (Package 1929-0501).
2. Mill Installation Works (Package 1929-0505)
3. Structural, Mechanical & Piping Works (Package 1929- 0506)
Ausenco’s purpose for writing to you today is to ascertain your interest to tender for any or all of the above listed packages. In this regard tender documents for Item 1 above are completed ready for issue, and tender documents for Items 2 and 3 will be ready for issue in the near future. We also advise that Ausenco personnel will be at the Martabe site on Friday 11 February 2011 primarily for the purpose of appraising Tenderers with the site conditions, programme, scope of works and other preliminary tender aspects in respect of Item 1 above. In addition, preliminary details of Ausenco’s Tender strategies for Items 2 and 3 above will also be discussed.
We apologise for the short notice, as we wish to maintain programme for the tender and award of the above referenced packages of work. To this end would you please advise the undersigned by close of business on Monday 07 February 2011 if you wish to submit an Expression of Interest and nominate the package or packages which are of interest to you. In the event of an affirmative response, would you please confirm your intention to participate in the abovementioned pre-tender meetings to be held at site in Martabe on Friday 11 February 2011.
