As you know Pakistan imports various Crude oil from middle east/other countries and also Petroleum products in bulk quantity.
Pakistan State Oil (PSO) imports about 11.2 million tons of Petroleum products per year which include:
6.7 million metric tons of Fuel Oil (High Sulphur and Low Sulphur)
0.65 million metric tons of Mogas,
3.7 million metric tons of High Sulphur Diesel
0.45 million tons of Jet fuel.
During the same time period a further 1.75 million metric tons of products was purchased from local refineries.
Kindly note that PSO is a 100% Government owned entity and import all the goods through International Tenders.
