BREED AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
1.1 The cattle supplied by the Seller must be Australian Purebred Angus Cattle (heifers). Each animal will be provided with a pedigree certificate, export category 2 certificates also issued by ACGEA. The seller shall provide electronic copy of pedigrees (DVD) to the Buyer within 5 days after entry to pre embarkation quarantine in Australia and hard copies of the pedigree on the vessel to China.
1.2 Angus cattle
1.2.1 The cattle (heifers) must be pure black in color and show of the following signs. No white skin on or in front of the naval scar, unless it is a birth mark. No white skin above the underline or on any leg or foot. No signs of developing or having had a horn or scar. No undersized animals or animals of inadequate frame size or type. No dairy or bos-indicus features. Free from genetic defect.
1.2.2 At the time of Buyer’s selection, age range of 10-16 months with uniform distribution, and mini body weight of 300kg at time of shipping.
1.3 Holstein
1.3.1 Each cattle should have a certificate or pedigree issued by the Australian Dairy Herd Improvement Agency;
1.3.2 Under natural grazing conditions in Australia, Dams’ average milk production is not less than 6,000 l / 305 days, milk fat rate is not less than 3.5% , and milk protein is not less than 3.0% ,
1.3.3 Well-developed, black-and-white patches of color, well-defined. No black or white cattle;
1.3.4 No defects in breasts, body or limbs. No Horns, no severed tail, well-developed breasts, no accessory nipples.
1.3.5 Before loading in Australia, the seller shall breed holsteins selected by the seller who meet the requirements for breeding by means of sexed high-yield Holstein frozen semen, and the number of pregnant cows shall be guaranteed at 1,000 according to the conception rate, whichever is the case, the female rate of birth calf should be 93%-95% . certificate for all mated Holstein heifers in 2 originals , stating mating date,quantity, place,eartag number of Holstein heifers and mated sexed semen information,issued by Australian officials vet.
1.3.6 At the time of Buyer’s selection, age range of 9-16 months with uniform distribution, and mini body weight of 270kg at time of shipping.
1.4 The conformation and appearance of the animal should be typical of the breed character, well-developed for their ages and be of value in breeding as specified in this contract. The sire of selected cattle must be Purebred Breeding Bull for each breed.
1.5 The genital organs of the cattle should show normal development as indicated by rectal examination. The cattle should be display healthy well developed udders and limbs and be free of eye, skin disease, BVD and actinomycetes. There should be no Fremartins presented.
1.6 The selected cattle in australia should have non-replaceable electronic ear tag and visible ear tag.
2. VETERINARY QUARANTINE REQUIREMENTS
Both parties shall comply with the quarantine and health requirements for cattle exported from Australia to the People’s Republic of China signed between the veterinary authorities of the two governments.
